Guma Gilbert, Goalkeeper - Ntemi chiefs
The bald 6-fter reminds me of Caballero in goal. He was one of the reasons Abakachai lost their unbeaten league status. He commanded his defence well and made saves to deny Ampa, Lambert, Muhebwa and LeBron. He was still invincible in goal against Abakawu and he was the busiest of all keepers that kept 2 clean sheets.
Adequate, Defender - Enturi
Adequate is always a busy guy, defends well and always surges forward to support an attack. He helped his side to keep 2 clean-sheets against Abukyariire and Ababombo and scored a long-range screamer to help Enturi to claim maximum points from Ababombo.
Kakuru Edgar, Defender - Abukyariire
No Abukyariire player won more aerial duels, completed more take-ons, and made more interceptions than counsel Kakuru. As one Kakuru in attack is a shadow of his earlier season performance, another Kakuru in defence has sprung up. He was a thorn in both Enturi and Aboojo's defence. His looping shot outside the box saved his side from the jaws of defeat.
Allan Amanya, Defender - Solutions
A part-time coach in all Solutions preseason matches but a full-time defender when the season kicks off. He was in scintillating form as he laid on 2 assists in the hammering of Ababombo and kept 2 clean sheets against Ababombo and Abomutumba.
Payet, Midfielder - Abaleni
One of the most talented versatile players in the league, a jack of all positions and a master as well. Player of the week with a hattrick against Abakawu to put himself in the golden boot race and later shut shop to keep KISOBA attackers at bay.
Mugisha Officer, Midfielder - Abaleni
Officer is one tenacious hell of a player to keep at bay. Dangerous with the ball at his feet and breathing down on opponents off the ball. He set up one of Payet's goals and scored the late winner against Basheya to keep Abaleni's title hopes alive.
Jose Vet, Midfielder - Abaleni
The league’s most gifted playmaker. A joy to watch when he has the ball and the architect of all Abaleni’s attacks. He was the culprit in shredding Basheya and Abakawu's defences. He assisted Officer’s late winner against Basheya and one of Payet’s hattrick.
Yesiga, Forward - Ntemi Chiefs
The old lanky striker scored the all-important goal as he broke Akachai's invincible league status and guide Ntemi Chiefs to maximum points.
Mugisha Kiga P, Forward - Solutions
The solutions talisman delivered a 5 🌟 performance against Ababombo. 4 goals he scored against Ababombo, the most by a JOVOC league player eclipsing Mets and Payet’s hattricks in a single game and he leads the goal-scoring chart. Give him sight of your goal at your own risk.
